Show families what fair share actually covers

Your draft autosaves in your browser, and this BandBoosterKit worksheet prints as a board or parent explanation sheet — or exports a CSV or backup file. Use season totals and role labels only; student balances, waivers, and payment records stay in the treasurer's approved system.

Assumptions

Check these before sharing

  • Do not use BandBoosterKit as a student-account ledger or official payment record.
  • Keep student balances, payment records, refunds, waivers, family financial information, and enforcement decisions in approved local systems.
  • Fair-share rules, refund language, fundraising-credit treatment, and fee enforcement vary by school, district, booster, and state guidance.
  • Blank numeric fields count as zero. Negative values are treated as zero and flagged for review.

Formula notes

How the worksheet math works

Season expenses sum the expense rows. Offsets sum school funds, fundraising, and sponsor rows. Net to families = expenses - offsets. Fair share per student divides net to families by the student count; the optional payment plan divides fair share by the installment count (capped at 12).

No. There is no account to create and nothing to log into. Your work saves right in this browser when local saving is available.

What should I avoid entering?

Leave out full private rosters, student account balances, medical details, emergency contacts, room assignments, addresses, parent phone lists, payment records, card or bank data, tax IDs, credentials, and anything you would not put in a shared booster packet.
